Server Concerns/Recomendations

Post anything you think should be brought up to the owners here, It could be about staff abuse, new add-ons you'd like to see on the server, or something you feel that needs to be addressed.

I would like to see the addon that lets you go prone.

As much  as I would like to have these kind of events, they just seem to bore most player. If you have a way to work around this I'd be more then happy to run more passive Rp events.

Map Change Ideas:
=19.5pxAlright, so Here are a few examples of what I am talking about.
Kamino
Imagine having our main map be the Kamino-Expanded map, we would have a cruiser, which is yes smaller, but this would call for the need of pilots. We could have the spawn point on the cruiser, and then if the troops wanted to move to the surface they would need a pilot to LAAT them to the surface, and likely troops would need authorization if they were not an OFFICER. Kamino is where tryouts would be held, where command would reside, and where training would take place. There is also a Asteroid base which I think would be a great place for RIB to do their work at, and another thing for pilots to do to transport them from place to place. This not only adds a quite unique aspect, it gives us more space, a new enviroment, more opportunities for pilots, and in General I think it would just be great for the server.
Nar Shaddaa
Nar Shaddaa is to be honest, my favorite choice. Nar Shaddaa would COMPLETELY change the server which would really require what the high-staff, (HA/Owner) and what the community would want. Let me give you an example, Nar Shaddaa has a large base that would completely cover our needs for a clone outpost, it has offices for command, barracks for troops, training grounds, a gate system ETC. Now the point of Nar Shaddaa would be to add a Citizen faction which is why this would change the server, it would have Gangs, rebels, massive amounts of  passive RP to the gamemode. Instead of doing nothing when theres not an event troops would be dealing with Citizen crime, wiping out gang bases, defending against rebel assaults or muggings. Now some would say, what happens to fleet!??!? omg my fav job wtf(Wut a meme). I would say ranks would likely change alot to what they should be, sorry comet rip USMC if this happens. But basically, fleet would just be, Command. It would still where the same uniforms as  are republic officers, not fleet members, which is what fergus and most servers are having fleet act like anyway, lets be simple, a actual fleet crew mans the cruiser, not commands missions, thats what command is. Ranks would likely change as trooper ranks would stop at Captain-Major-LTCOL-COL-CMD, and command ranks would likely go- Officer Cadet(OfCC), WO-CWO(2-5), 2LT, 1LT, CPT, MJR,LTCOL,COL,Brigadier General, Major General, LT General, General,(Fergus would be general, or Grand General which doesnt fit lore but oh well). Gangs would either stay in the citizen faction and just be gangs because they have guns, completely player run through roleplay, or through a massive Application about the size of this comment that would have comet or fergus form a faction. 
Tatooine:
This is definitly the worst option of what I am posting here. Basically would be a clone FOB that would do the same as Nar Shaddaa, Gangs, Likely the hutt cartel mainly, dealing with relations with the Cartel, the Cartel over-running minor gangs, and lots of Citizen Roleplay. This would generally be the same as Nar Shaddaa Except the Hutt Cartel would just end up being too populated, and it would turn into cancer shoot outs.

We have a good rank system already...
 

Me and 3 of my friends have come up with a error saying "This map doesn't match with the one you have". We all downloaded the content pack and all 4 of us have come up with this error.
The current ranks are shit.
We need a different kind of promotion system. Most of my friends and some of the people in the community are getting salty at this "Favoritism" stuff, I'm honestly trying so hard to not curse in this post.

As an officer who is not currently a staff member, I can assure you that myself and several officers look for the best troops to be promoted. Promotions are special, showing that the trooper performed better than all other troopers on the field. With there being so many men in each battalion, as well as a multitude of Clone troopers, SOCOM units, and officers, it gets difficult to pick and choose which men did better than the rest. I look for the best in every event, but as I stated, with so many to look out for, it is difficult to say You did better than your other 6 friends unless they truly went above and beyond the call of duty. I hate to sound callous, but those who wish to be promoted must show themselves worthy of promotion. It's not a handout that you are guaranteed. It is an honor with which you are privileged.

Rather than just an entire battalion of CTs after training or just after a few days on the server put them into squads and not have the tag *CT* anymore; mostly because EVERYONE ON THE SHIP IS A CLONE TROOPER. And It makes them look more orginized in big events rather then running to who ever says follow them. Each squad can have a JNCO or NCO as somewhat acting leader for the group. JNCOs get the normal trooper with the added Visor and NCO gets the added Kama/Visor. New tag that isn't CT could just be S# (#=Squad number). This also helps if we want some people in squads to gain specialization Gun or RP wise that is. Like we have a heavy and a medic but 20 CTs to take care of.
Few Suggestions:

1.
For a couple of days, I've seen game masters spawn NPC'S directly in front of people, and causes some people to crash / get killed easily ruining RP. Would be better if they spawned them around a corner, or somewhere that the player won't notice the people hosting the event spawning them. (Either by doing it directly in the menu so it doesn't show the location, or hide them better in locations, behind buildings, etc.)

2. (Not sure if is) FearRP should be managed on the server.. A few days ago I saw some people trying to arrest someone and they wouldn't stop and they took grappling hooks to them multiple times, and the user escaped "magically" which in a real scenario, you wouldn't be able to escape 2-3 grappling hooks or a gun pointed at you.

3. Something that should also be noticed by the game masters is that if you have a bunch of people of people (multiple divisions) in a group together, most likely people are going to get bored easily as the enemies would be easier to kill, so if you "separate them" by event actions, or different objectives it let's those battalions "feel special" if it involves their abilities and training, but also let's smaller groups handle NPC'S more slower than you would with half the server.
