Wraith one day went to the fleet and asked to become a pilot because he never felt like he was supposed to be a foot solider like he was assigned to become. Wraith was denied by the fleet and was told to go back to doing training. Wraith from that point on spent countless weeks doing pilot studying; Maneuvers, Dog fight tactics, the way to control a squad, formations, and call outs. Wraith was a natural born leader, he led his battalion of troops from when they were put together. He gave that position up to continue his pilot studies. Wraith they believed he was ready for the simulators after countless weeks of studies.[/b] [b]When Wraith reached the simulators, his passion was to be like his idol in the Galactic Republic, Gold Squadron Leader Fireball. Wraith wanted to be better than fireball so he worked on his key aspects; Agility, Accuracy, Maneuvers, and an Ace Leader. After his time in the simulators, one day he heard gold squad was training their that day, so wraith went to the sim and hopped into a unit that fireball was watching. Wraith was the only non pilot in the pilot sims so it caught fireballs eye. Wraith started his routine and out preformed everybody doing the simulator. Once it was over fireball approached wraith with a shocked look and told him, "Hey kid,  you have some talent. You aren't meant to be a normal trooper. Go to the fleet right now, tell them fireball sent yah, and get you class changed. You're going to be a Ace Pilot." Those words stuck to wraith with pride and honor. [/b] [b]Wraith went to the fleet and was then assigned to join Shadow Squadron. Wraith had only 2 training sessions with his new squad and was promoted to second in command, under MatchStick. In his first battle, they were paired up with blue squadron. They were sent to take out the C.I.S. Blockade over the neutral plant Guary. during that blood bath of a skirmish they lost 12 out of the 20 pilots sent to fight, 8 being blue squadron and 1 of the 4 shadows being his leader, MatchStick. Wraith called for a retreat after sustaining heavy loses and so both squad were formed to shadow squad, Wraith was the new CO. Wraith and his squadron were sent to the battle of felucca. their task was to bomb and destroy the C.I.S. tank blockade that protected their base. While engaging in the bombing run, Wraith was shot down and crashed in the side of the mountain in. The separatists sent out a search party and wraith was only unconscious in the cockpit. He was taken as a prisoner of war and was brain washed and tortured for information on the republic assault. After his brainwashing he was rescued by Geronimo after a republic victory and gained control of felucia. He was then brought back to his home planet kamino were he had flashbacks to being in battles as a pilot and had glimpses of his old brothers, now dead.
